What’s New in Design Assistant 10.00

Attention! ALL FILE FORMATS ARE NEW!
Files saved in 10.0 cannot be read in previous versions unless they are Saved As the previous file format.

The maximum nuber of Taps has been increased to 256
Taps can now be automatically selected from multiple tap groups. If you have a network containing more than one set of taps, you can now designate which group to select from. An excellent feature when adding new tap manufacturers to existing networks
First setup as many groups of taps as you like in the tap Specs. The Tap Selection Group number will be assigned automatically after clicking the Load button. Next set the Tap Selection Group (TSG) at the top of the Design screen.

!!LOCK ANY EXISTING TAPS YOU DO NOT WANT TO CHANGE!!

Will Work will now select taps from the selected group
Use “Show Tips” to view Part Numbers on Design screen to identify which group existing taps belong to
Copy Rows has been added to the specification files. You can select multiple rows using the CTRL or Shift key. After the rows are highlighted, select Copy Rows from the Edit pull down menu. Now highlight the first row you want to copy to, and select Paste Rows from the Edit pull down menu
Find/Replace/Mark… Now includes marking abilities. You can now find and mark amps, taps, cables, and couplers. The ability to combine marking, locking, and replacing all at one time throughout the network makes this a very useful tool
Lock Downstream now includes the ability to lock amps or taps only if desired
Excel reports now create in XLXS format

ISP Connect, Select a cable from the map now works properly
